On your first visit you will be requested to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete paperwork for your file. You should bring your insurance card(s), the prescription provided your physician and your drivers license or photo ID (federal regulation to prevent medical identity theft). If you have questions our staff is available to assist you. Do not hesitate to ask questions when you make your appointment as our goal is to meet your prosthetic and/or orthotic needs through purposeful interaction at all times.

If you previously received services from us but have not been in our office for some time you will be asked to update your file information.

FAQs

• How does WPO handle insurance billing?
  As a client service, WPO invoices all insurance carriers through our Central Billing Center in Milwaukee
• For which carriers is WPO an approved provider?
  WPO is an approved provider for Medicare, Wisconsin Medical Assistance, Workers' Comp, Veterans, Vocational Rehabilitation and the majority of insurance carriers, HMOs, PPOs, and POSs in Northeastern Wisconsin. For any payor we do not have a contractual relationship with, we will submit a payment authorization after client assessment.
• Does WPO submit prior authorizations?
  Yes. WPO submits prior authorizations for patients to plans requiring them.
• Who do I call with billing questions?
  Any questions about co-pay's, deductibles and balances should be directed to the Wisconsin Billing Center at 414-479-9810
