Wisconsin Prosthetics and Orthotics was originally created, as Wisconsin Orthopedic Appliance Co., in Milwaukee in 1951 by Joe Pungarcher, himself an amputee. After one year he moved his business to Green Bay where it remains today. In 1975 a longtime employee, Raymond Gustin C.P., also an amputee, purchased the company along with his partner Jack Weldon C.P. Together they successfully ran the practice as a single location. In 1983 Brian Gustin, C.P. joined his fathers practice after training in Chicago and furthered his experience under his father’s mentorship. In 1988, after 40 years of practice, Ray and Jack decided to retire and Brian assumed the practice. From this point forward the business grew outside of Green Bay to it’s current locations including a mobile service to outlying areas. Surviving in business for over 50 years shows Wisconsin Prosthetics and Orthotics dedication to those it serves and the communities that it is located in. For unparalleled service and care try Wisconsin Prosthetics and Orthotics for your patients or family members.
